Entertaining? Make a Batch for a Crowd
Whether you’re hosting a Solstice dinner, a weekend cookout, or an impromptu sunset hang, batching cocktails is the secret to staying out of the kitchen and in the moment. The Luz de Verano scales beautifully into a pitcher. Just prep it ahead, chill it down, and let guests help themselves.
Luz de Verano (Pitcher Recipe – Serves 8–10)
- 2.25 cups Casa México Blanco
- 1 cup mango juice
- 1 cup fresh lime juice
- ¾ cup agave syrup
- Optional: matcha salt rim for glasses
- Garnish: edible flowers or lime wheels
Combine all ingredients except garnishes in a large pitcher or sealed container. Chill for at least one hour. Stir well before serving. Serve over ice and garnish each glass with an edible flower and lime wheel.
Hosting Tips
- Batch your cocktail ahead of time and chill it in the fridge for at least an hour. Pour into a clear pitcher or a punch bowl just before serving to show off the color.
- Keep ice cold and separate. Set out a small bucket of large-format ice cubes or spheres so drinks stay chilled without watering down the flavor.
- Rim half the glasses in advance with matcha salt and set out on a small tray so guests can help themselves.
- Pair with citrus-forward bites. Think grilled shrimp, ceviche, or tostadas with avocado and lime. A platter of fresh fruit also would hit the right note.
- Don’t forget the music. The perfect Summer Solstice playlist sets the mood, and if you don’t have one, we’ve got you covered.
From backyard barbecues to golden hour hangs, the Luz de Verano delivers effortless ease with a touch of elegance. Casa México Blanco brings the energy, no matter where summer takes you.
