Casa México Tequila is honored to partner with the El Nacimiento Distillery, a family owned and operated establishment spanning 5 generations with over 100 years of experience growing agave and distilling tequila. For over 20 years our founder Don Buccio and Master Distiller have worked hand in hand to create a truly exceptional spirit.
Our tequila is estate grown, distilled using plants exclusively from our own agave fields. In 1999 Don Buccio purchased agave in the fields of Arandas located in the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico. These fields continue to produce the exceptional plants used in our distilling process today. The temperate climate of the area allows for the cool ocean currents to interact with the heat of the desert enhancing the quality and complexity of the agave and allowing them to flourish. Our plants spend 8 years maturing before moving through the harvesting process. Our tequila is made from 100% Blue Agave Tequilana Weber.
Our award winning Añejo is made from only the finest blue agave picked from the mineral rich, deep volcanic soils of the highlands in Jalisco, Mexico.
Slow baked in clay ovens, naturally fermented and double distilled in stainless steel pot stills, our finished product then rests for a minimum of 12 months in American White Oak barrels. This transformation allows the product to obtain its exceptional taste and caramel hue through a natural process.
Tequila aficionados appreciate the initial caramel notes followed by the smooth oak flavors that are produced by this uniquely nuanced spirit. This expression is best served neat or with a minimal amount of ice.
